Restore the bore around the pin

Build up, then machine
Where appropriate, welding restores material inside the worn bore. A boring bar is set through the lugs on a shared centerline, then the bore is machined to the size required for the repair. Pins and bushings are considered together with the bore, rather than treating each part in isolation.
